Hickeys...

I hate when girls walk around with them on in public like its cute. Not even trying to cover them up.

Eww,son.

I don't recall myself running into hickey loving guys recently.

Well, you can always get them below the collar. I see nothing wrong with hickey's themselves...:look:

Well I have only dated one "hickey lover"; but I have dated other adult men who like to leave passion marks. I certainly don't flaunt them, most are left in discreet places. I enjoy the passion and the mark doesn't bother me at all.

I have never understood why people wear or give hickeys. That mess was ridiculous to me when I was young. Walking around with red marks on your neck. :look:

Oh boy. You ladies just reminded me of something.

When I was working in the bank my supervisor came in one Monday morning with a bandana tied arount her neck. She proceeded to show and tell everyone about her hickey. Complete with all the gory details. She even told customers who came in to do their banking.

Her childish attitude was plucking my last nerve. So I called her over to my desk on the platform and informed her she was not the only one who got a hickey over the weekend.
She made a point of staring at my neck and in a loud voice stated that she saw nothing.

I stood up and started to pull up my skirt. At first she was confused and then her mouth flew open. She fled back to her desk.

^^^^^^^ ha! Get her!

As for hickeys, I'm still young. I don't think they're an issue. But they shouldn't be visible. Visible hickeys are gross. I leave them accidentally. I rarely intend on doing something in the chance that I leave a mark lol.

My exhusband was always giving me hickey's but they were below the neck and no one knew they were there except him and I.

They don't bother me, put they are not for the public to see.

I dated a younger guy once, I was 26 and he was 21 he was def a hickey giver I hated that! I never even knew that was what he was doing until the next day I wake up with bruises all over my neck and chest. I was so heated I cussed him the hell out. I had to wear turtlenecks to work he was lucky it was winter time. Hickeys are immature IMO and so was he.

My FH is a "hickey lover" FH puts them in discreet places. I enjoy them and it does not bother me.

I'm embarrassed to have them seen on me. I had a bite mark that was visible and I tried to play it off as acne scars on my neck. :/ I was put on the spot and that was the only thing I could think of. Idk if anyone believed me but no one called me out.

That is why my current love interest rarely kisses me on the neck...boooo! He leaves them on me w/out realizing.

I suspect part of it is marking me. He wants no other man near me
:ohwell:

There was one time my bf (when we were together) put one on my face :lick: (don't judge!) and somehow I didn't notice :perplexed. So I came into work and some lady was like "damnnnnnn he tried to suck your face off?!". I was mort-if-ied :nono::nono::nono:. ever since then I'm very careful about my passion marks.

I was seeing a hickey-giver once and he gave me a huge one on my neck. Marking territory I think. Fortunately, you wouldn't notice a hickey on me unless I actually told you it was there.

Hate it! It does nothing for me and I'm glad I haven't dated anyone who does it in years. Now, biters? Totally different story.

My husband is a hickey giver and biter but never obvious and he's calmed down since HS. When he is feeling "territorial" he'll leave them just on/below my collar bone. I also think he knows I find it a little exhilarating to think about it when I happen to come across it the next day. Kind of a reminder of the previous "events".. :lick: :lachen:
