It's been a long time.... Since I left you.. But I don't mean to step to... Step to step to....okay lemme stop!

I decided to come back i missed you guys. I've been lurking. My hair has been through some things but it's healthy and now I'm trying to get to hip length. I just need a pep talk to grow it longer.

Yes chy...I was trying to look at pics on here for inspiration. But without a subscription that just doesn't happen Im glad to be back

I experienced a horrible shed earlier this year due to thyroid problems but it has since thickened back up. I've been pretty consistent with using black castor oil and it really has helped.

My regimen is simple. I wear my hair curly about 95% of the time.

I shampoo and deep condition weekly.

I cowash every 2-3 days. If I'm too busy I just do my hair every week.

My wash n go consists of:

Oil (black castor oil)
Leave in (curl enhancing smoothie, or curl and style milk or miss Jessie's multicultural curls)
Ecostyler gel

(In that order... I use the oil as a "base")

Sometimes I try new products but those above are my staples.

I trimmed my hair twice this year and right now it's straight but I don't straighten my hair very often at all. This was the second time this year that I straightened it since May.

How long after taking medicine for your thyroids did it stop shedding. I just found out I had thyroid problems too in October but I didn't experience more than normal shedding though thank you! But I wanna know when it balanced out

I actually stopped taking the medicines for it bc they made me really sick. Im not on anything right now I'm actually just trying to go the natural route and eat healthier and take better care of myself.

I find that my body is sensitive to certain types of meds and doctors tend to brush me off and prescribe me what they want to. So I'm just taking care of myself.
