Hi LHCF...I'm new!

Hi everyone...i finally pulled my debit card out and registered an account. Right now i have short (neck length) hair that i am trying to grow out. This forum has opened my eyes. Hairdressers and even well-meaning family members have told me almost the exact opposite of what i've been reading here. Especially about trims and regarding time between relaxers. I used to get a retouch every 4 weeks!!! I am on my way to 8 weeks now...and i have to admit i probably won't make it past that this time. Hopefully in the future with the info on this board i will though...
