Hi all, firstly I just would like to say I have lurking on this forum for about 9 months now and have now plucked up the courage to finally post. I want to say thank you, you guys have been great and very helpful. I didn’t really have a clue about looking after my hair until I found this site. My Hair has been stuck at ear length for about a year and I started to wonder why doesn’t my hair grow? How come all my friends can cut their hair and still grow past mine, then I started to research and found this site. I am now learning how to take better care of my hair thanks to you guys, but I have still got a lot more to learn. Since I have started taking more notice of my hair and I have seen a bit of a difference, it is slightly thicker and it is a little pass my ear, but I still feel my hair grows very slow.

You know honey, I'm with you:drunk:. My hair has always been stuck at neck length all my life and no matter what I did it wouldn't grow:nono:. My mother would just tell me (since she has APL thick hair) that I have it like my father's side of the family :wallbash:. They all have short hair and keep it that way. I believed it until I came to this site and I have been changing my views big time. I am probably running the risk of becoming a PJ but hey, if my hair grows even to my shoulders thick and healthy then I know I'm on the right track and its worth it!!!! Let me know if you want a hair journey buddy so we can help each other

Yeah that'll be good, we could give each other inspiration. I truly use to believe that certain peoples hair couldn't grow past a certain length, well that what i was told, but i was like, how does that make sense , i always get regrowth and need to get a touch up. I found this site and realised about retention.

:welcome4: Kyree!! There is so much knowlege on this board that it will make your head spin! :drunk: I was stuck between ear and shoulder length for most of my life, if not all of it. Once I joined LHCF I learned a lot of tips and trips and now I'm making progress and you will too. HHG!

Your hair will grow; keep strong and be consistent with good hair practices! God willing we all have time just need the patience. HHG!

Thanks, seeing you guys hair, has given me inspiration. I'm not gonna stress about it, I'm gonna enjoy the journey and the challenge!!
