Hi all,
I have been lurking for a long time before I decided to post. I have read carefully, taking some suggestions on board and leaving others.
I am really not sure what kind of hair I have, I know it is type 4, but the letters have me a bit confused. All I know is that my natural hair is not really hard tough but quite soft. My hair relaxes easily and is currently around the middle of my neck

( after a stylist attacked me with a "TRIM")
I have only just started to understand how to take care of my hair (started with Cathy Howse ). The whole idea of moisturising my hair never really occured to me. Same with washing my hair often. I used to wash about twice a month and now I wash at about every 3/4 days.
Here are a the products I use.
( I think less is more)

* UBH Conditioner
* UBH Dew
* Africa's Best Organics Shea Butter kids detangler
* Africa's Best Organics Caster Oil
* Wild Oil
* Kera Care Shamopoo

Okay here are a few questions I have

1. I don't know what to do with my hair after I airdry.
I currently dry it from soaking wet.. add my shea butter/spray some dew and add some oils. Just before it is dry I comb through. The problem is that my ends are always left frizzy and not sleek. Any ideas?

2. I also want to buy a ceramic hair straighter (not to use every day though )
GHD CERAMIC
I am looking at the GHD ones but they are really expensive.. does anyone have a cheaper solution?

Thanks a lot guys..

1. I put a mixture of oils (jojoba, olive, aloe vera, carrot, etc.) on my ends every night and sometimes in the morning. In the morning, I sometimes use my Silk Elements Glossing Polish to make my hair frizzy free, shiny and smooth, and silky feeling. You can use any glossing polish or serum to get rid of frizziness.

2. I heard Jibere Ceramic Flat Iron is good for straightening hair. I posted a thread about 'what is the best straightening iron' and Jibere came up the most. I use Con Air and I really dont like it. I think Jibere is in this range $19.99-39.99 depending on where you get it.

Hope this helps

You are right on target with the less is more slogan.

I find that when I air dry in 2 braided ponytails after adding oil to my hair...that it helps to control the frizzies. The only time I have a problem with them is when I put the braids in my hair while it is soaking wet. Perhaps you should try adding some coconut oil to your regimen. It really does help to keep your ends moisturized.
