I knew you would be able to SEE this thread....

I have a couple of questions for all of the lovely ladies of LHCF with Stylish Eyewear.

1. Can eyewear cause thinning hair around the temple area?
2. Do you wear metal or plastic frames? Do you think it makes a difference?
3. How do you take care of the area around your glasses?

I hope this isn't too weird of a question, but it was on my mind this morning.

TIA!

Sincerely,

Ms Goody

1. Can eyewear cause thinning hair around the temple area? I have never experienced that and I have been wearing glasses since I was 20 years old, I am now 38.

2. Do you wear metal or plastic frames? Do you think it makes a difference? Plastic now. Thin metal at the top only- previously

3. How do you take care of the area around your glasses? Same way that I take care of the rest of my hair. No different.

I wear plastic frames and they dont effect my hair, but they may get a little oil or grease on them from time to time. when i had metal frames, they got stuck in my hair and pulled on it now and then. plastic is def safer.

I used to wear metal frames (as in avatar) I switched to plastic frames 5 months ago. I haven't noticed any difference.

I wear plastic, the metal would tug on my edges. I don't have issues with them. And i care for my hair in that area the same way.

I've been wearing plastic frames for about 5 or 6 years. I never had any problems with my hair around the edges resulting from my glasses and I take care of that part of my hair the same...

Hmmm...Mine have metal but plastic around them....I only wear designer frames....
But I have not experience thinning...I take care of my hair the same way as before I wore glasses...**Shrugs**

I agree. The metal frames use to snag my hair. Plastic is the way to go. :yep:
