Hey Naturals, Read Any Good Books?

I made the decision to go natural, that is, natural products/ingredients. That means no more relaxers. Quite frankly, I'm just tired of relaxing my hair. Since day one, which was 16 years ago, of relaxing my hair each time my heart is in my throat.

Anyway, I realize that no more relaxers means natural hair. I haven't exactly made a conscious decision to go natural but I'm open to the idea. Therefore, I want to know the best things to do during transition (by the way, BC is out of the question). Yes, I know the board is helpful.

Don't get me wrong; I love the board. I was just wondering if you've also read any books that were helpful as well. TIA.

The first book I can recommend- and if you only read one - is definitely "Going Natural: How to Fall in Love with Nappy Hair" by Mireille Liong-a-kong. It's a fast read, but jam-packed with info. :yep:

No lye by Tulani Kunard, Lets talk hair by Pamela Ferrell, Good hair by lonnice Brittenium Bonner, hair rules by A. dickey I've got quite a library of books.
