Hey guise. Should my length be longer...

I got my hair cut this year in the beginning of March to Shoulder Length again and now i'm only APL =O It's December (obviously) =).

I'm starting to question myself should i be further than this.
i know were all different have different diets and bodies but
how long will it take u to go to shoulder length back to APL?

how often have you trimmed?
Also, at the length i imagine there is a lot of rubbing of hair on your clothes so that may mean you don't retain as much.

I have about 5" between sl and apl and i grow about 5-6" a year. So that would be great for me.

smh i didnt trim. bad for me but my ends are ok since i moisturize and seal.
i dont wear my hair on my clothes i wear it up in a tucked in pony tail bun

I think SL to APL in leass than a year is pretty good progress

IMO, it isn't a race. You will get to APL when you get there. If it takes you longer than someone else, who cares. Everyone does not have the same growth rate so it is inevitable that some people will make length goals before others.

The problem comes for most people when they start comparing themselves to other people. You went from SL to APL. That is great. If it took you longer than the human cha chia pet, once again, it doesn't matter. Be happy YOU made your goal period.

It took me 9 months from SL to APL and another 9 months from APL to BSL.

im confused when u said same amount of time then wat will be the point i'll just let it grow when it wants lol. oh and i have used growth aids like multi vitamins and gsm nourish hair thats about it i give up on topicals very quickly they don't work in my opinion...
