Please post updates on your results. I just started on Monday. I haven't noticed any changes in my hair yet, but my skin is smooth as butter. I can't wait until my hair thickness/growth starts to take off.
I think it's kinda hard to be able to pin point growth on carrot juice but I sitll trust it's beneficialness (is that a word?LOL!) to keep chugging. And yes, my skin seems better also!
It's been hard to find carrot juice in my area, all the stores I frequent, including the grocery store, didn't have it for some strange reason(ran out of carrots maybe, LOL), so I finally found some, so I guess I'll start back tomorrow.
LOL...it seems that nobody is seeing ANY real hair results. I started drinking carrot juice a couple months ago, when the challenge first started, no...I haven't seen any results, but...I still drink it because it is good for you.
Couldn't even get past my 1st cup, it was so gross 2 me..yuck..I know it's good for u tho so I will have to start with 1/2 a cup I guess...until I get used 2 it.
I continue with my carrot juice (2 oz/day) like taking a supplement and my hair continues to get thicker and more healthy looking every day. I know there are other factors too like stretching my relaxers and airdrying, but I give credit to the carrot joice also from my experiences with it as well as others. Ir contains just about all the vitamins we need, including all of our B vitamins. I will continue this inexpensive and very healthy practice.

ChoclatePrincess you don't know the 1/2...lol...I have a juicer so I made it fresh. I mean I like carrots but I guess I am too used to the bad stuff like soda so the consistency of the juice immediately turned me off..yick
I don't know if my hair was necessarily growing but it was definitely stronger. I haven't been drinking it in about 1 1/2 weeks and with my last two conditioner washes, I've been shedding like a long-haired cat. I'm back on it first thing in the morning!
Well, I'm glad you have had some good results Isis. For those who think carrot juice just tastes disgusting.....the ones from the stores taste disgusting to me. When I first started this challenge, I bought carrot juice from the store, and it just made me sick, so luckily for me I have a juicer at home, and guess what!!! It's delicious! It tastes just like a milkshake guys...
So what I would recommend, at the beggining of the week, make enough carrot juice for the whole week...trust me on this one ( because I hate drinking ANYTHING healthy...) If you make your own, you'll be fine...try it!
Dear Pet,
I am thinking about purchasing a juicer and wanted to know how much carrots I will need for to last me a week. I think that is a great idea Pet about juicing the carrots for a weeks worth.
Thanks

You need about....30-40, depending on how big the carrots are. Even if you make too much, once you taste how good it is, you wouldn't mind drinking a entire cup.
Hey, I'm a latecomer to the challenge. I just purchased a juicer and started this morning, butI'd like to know what the guidelines for the official challange are. Can't find the original challenge thread.
Also, have any of you tried to put the juice of one Granny Smith apple into your carrot juice(using a juicer)? The tart/sweetness gives a nice flavor to the carrot juice.
