I went to Sally's and noticed all of the Aura products and it seems like Aura is the generic or knock-off of Aveda. What do you think? (I bought it by the way!)

I am not Allandra but yes.....it is a knockoff of Aveda. the ingredients are pretty similar I think.
It is even rumored that Aveda was husband-wife business who got divorced and one partner formed Aura after the split.
