I'm sitting up here in my plastic cap letting the deep conditioner "marinate"

but i wanna know for those of you that air dry, how do you wear your hair while it dries? in a bun? ponytail? a big braid? just trying to find a good way to do this. Thanks

Re: Hey 4a/b\'s i have a question....

I let it sit in a towel for about 15 mins. Then I put oil on it and put it in a pony tail. I usually wear it back so I put a scarf on it and that has it smooth and 90% dry by morning. HTH!

I put my hair back in a bun or ponytail, anything that will keep the hair straight and smooth. I put it back apply my products and put on my scarf. In the morning, its smooth straight and shiny.

I usually roller set my hair and allow it to air dry overnight. Yes, I sleep in rollers but it is not uncomfortable for me.

I do the same as babygurl not to maintain straightness but just so I can go to bed without using heat!

I do the scarf thing, too. In fact I did it last night. I added CD's Hair Milk to my damp hair combed it all back, put on my scarf and twisted the scarf with my hair in it into a bun. When I woke up and took the scarf at the bottom was still wet, but I put my hair up in a claw clip and it dried about 2hrs. later.

Just an update to everyone that helped me

i tried the methods that everyone gave me and my hair actually came out pretty good. it was straight where i had it pulled back and in loose waves where it was in a bun. Even though this was pretty much a positive experience, i think i will stick to blowdrying after my wash. I wash every week to 10 days so i think i will keep my blowdryer and comb attachment as my luxury items. Since i don't use any other heat (curling iron, flat iron) or anything like that, i'm gonna sacrifice and keep using my blowdryer. Thanks for all the information. I will be letting it airdry every once in a while in the future, but for the most part i'm gonna be one blowdrying chick
