Hee-hee! He hasn't seen me yet. Just to avoid negative comments from him, I'll be wearing a scarf over my head when I'm around him. The only time I see him is on Sunday for church.

Did you go to a stylist that specialized in natural hair?

Yes, natural hair is her specialty. She's natural herself. She pointed out these areas to me. She said those spots will fill in and my hair will grow out healthier now without a relaxer.

jada's natural texture!!!!! Pooh, at night wet your hair a little and add some pomade or gel then sleep with a satin scarf on( i prefer i wave cap though) make it snug butr not to tight it should make your hair laid down just like that i'm looking forward to the pics

Thanks for the suggestion. But right now, my hair isn't as long as Jada's in the pic. I will probably be able to do this style maybe a month from now.

Well, there are some people who are natural/napptural and don't have a clue....I actually know of a few! I was wondering, especially because she didn't believe your hair was heat damaged.

Well I still wonder too even though she said she specializes in natural hair. When I told her, she kept saying she just doesn't believe heat could permanently straighten hair like that. Maybe she works with natural hair but isn't that knowledgeable about things like what things can damage your hair. I know many stylists use a lotta heat. Who knows. I just made sure she knew I wasn't using heat on my hair anymore.
