my hair can't go like the one in my avatar. check out my album. the top part of my hair was permanently straigtened by a stove hot comb. i can't do any twists or anything. so i gotta cut it way shorter now. it will be a big set back for me but im all for it if it's going to help out my hair in the long run.
 
oh wow. you poor thing. it would be cool to get it that short. i used to have hair shorter than that so its no biggie. and you can style it anyway you want...even spiking :p. And you can also use that stuff that guys use on their hair to make waves when its really short. I think it's called sportin' waves

I'm also sorry to hear about your heat damage pooh. :( I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I really like the "heat damaged" look. It looks almost like a pixie cut. I have a gf that's a super curly "2b/c" and she relaxes her hair with a super perm, so she can wear her hair in this style.

As far as the Jada cut, I also think that's a nice style, but it's hard to say how it will look. :ohwell: Overall, I think short hair looks very good on you though, so I'm sure it will be fine. :)
 
The hair in the pic looks texturized, are you going to texturize? I think a short cut would be beautiful on you. I liked the twa but this is just as pretty.

No I'm not going to texturize. Btw, I thought Jada was natural.

If my hair doesn't look like this after the cut, I'll just use gel or some product that would keep my hair laid down like that.
 
Btw, I'm not going to get that color... no no... I know I wouldn't look right with the color since I'm darker than Jada. ;)

hi! I actually liked the damaged look, it looked like a cute spiked up look... but I guess if it didn't revert to your natural hair, then cutting it is what's good... GOSH! it's crazy how much damage some heat can do... I wanna go to the end of the year without it, except for a couple of Dominican blowouts.

I do like the cut, BTW. Besides, it's May. By December 14, you'll have 3.5" of new growth or possibly more, if your hair grows at 1/2" a month... and yes, I calculated:sekret:

I got it cut at 11am today. I don't have pics yet and it doesn't look like Jada's hair. I had more heat damage than I thought so she had to shave it really low like a boy. It's so low, I can see thin areas in my scalp from chemical relaxer damage. I couldn't convince her that it was heat damage. She still thought I had relaxed ends. She told me I had a lotta different textures in my hair. She said around my hairline, it's straight/wavy and everywhere else is tightly curled. She said my hair was very soft.

Now I'm ready to get ta surgin'! :yep:

hopefully with some of these growth aids im doing, I wanna get more than 1/2 a month. :D

jada's natural texture!!!!! Pooh, at night wet your hair a little and add some pomade or gel then sleep with a satin scarf on( i prefer i wave cap though) make it snug butr not to tight it should make your hair laid down just like that i'm looking forward to the pics
