Henna Users?

Hello Ladies!

I was wondering if anybody has any pros and cons to using henna as a natural alternative to perms, or chemical dyes. I had checked out hennajoy's site www.everydayhenna.com, but I didnt see any before or after picks or any testimonials. Please help with what ever knowledge you have about henna!

I've never used henna to color my hair unless you count Hennalucent...

I use natural henna to condition my hair and I love it! It doesn't straighten my hair like relaxers did. It just makes my hair softer, slightly looser, a lot more manageable and less "poofy" looking. It helps keep frizz at bay except in extreme humidity. (Which is from May-Sept were I live!

) I don't have any 'before' pics, but I have a pic of my hair actually laying down that I took in Aug/Sept of this year. This is a big deal when you live in SC and have hair like mine!
