for you henna users, which of these are you using for a deeper color?

You can try to use/make and amla and indigo tea, then add it to your henna mix for the darkening effects plus conditioning effects.

I have tried to locate some indigo locally with no luck. I am trying to cut back on ordering online. The S&H is killing my pocket book. <--(sorry country girl)

I actually like to use coffee.:lick: Not only for color enriching effects but stronger roots of the hair and hardly any shedding. :yep:

Black coffee adds brownish tones. I haven't tried tea.

:yep: Yep, thats what I've used the last time or two that I hennaed.

ETA: I never found indigo in my area neither. But coffee/black tea worked well to give me a chestnut type color (my hair can look very dull lightish brown). Thinking of it I might do this again soon.

When I used henna I mixed in amla powder and used chamomile tea.
