Henna stains

I need some help ladies. I made the stupid, stupid mistake of applying red raj to my roots this morning with no gloves. One of my hands and nails are completely orange....what do you do to tone down the stain?

I would use a solution of warm water and a tiny bit of bleach...It should come off

I grew up using henna and there's no way to physically remove stains. You could only fade them. Try rubbing your hands with olive oil, or something emulsive like that. Frequent hand washing and exfoliating always help.
But think of it this way, women in north Africa purposely stain their palms and soles with henna because they view it as beautiful.

I found that if I washed my hands quickly enough the stains come right off the skin - try using a salt scrub to exfoliate away the stained skin if it's been too long.

Nails are another story. I typically paint over the stain and then when I remove the polish a week later the stain is gone. Maybe nail polish remover would work on it's own?
