Henna Paste - Expiration

I mixed up some Henna and Amla last week. I had some leftover and place it in the fridge. Is it still okay to use it, or should I discard the paste? How long can does henna paste keep in the fridge?

It is good for one week in the fridge (7 days) or indefinitely in the freezer. HTH.

Thanks. I had to discard it, because it was actually more than 7 days old. But the red liquid that settled at the top was really amazing. I feel like a mad scientist.

You can still use it. Next time to preserve freshness, put it in a zip lock bag, getting out as much air as you can, and throw it in teh FREEZER That will help keep it fresh till the next time you use it. I think it keeps in the freezer up to 3 months.
