Hi ladies! How long do you keep your henna/indigo on?
Asking because I did a hendigo Friday night really late (11pm) (mixed them together for the dark brown coloring) and I didn't feel like washing out that night....I ended up keeping it in until 10am on Saturday morning....11 hours.
Let me tell you....first of all, I lost nearly NO hair (that I could see...not counting the hair washed down the drain) while rinsing and washing it out. I counted all of three strands. Secondly, the color is pretty good....I deep conditioned but the strength of my hair feels glorious. I never processed hennas over 4 hours before in the past....but this technique has yielded positive results thus far.
