how many grams of henna do you usually buy and use for an application? how much of the stuff is enough for you?

i'm thinking of getting the 300g?

I used 250 my first time and that was plenty. So 300 should be fine.

It depends on the length and thickness of your hair. I say 300 grams should be very good for the 1st time to see exactly how much you need. If it's straight henna, simply store the rest in the freezer until your ready to use it. So there's no waste.

I use 100g per application. I do a henna gloss (conditioner and henna). I have plenty and sometimes have a tad left over.

i think that should be plenty

especially if you longer haired ladies are using less.

I agree with Lavendar. I only use 75 grams and I still have some left over. I mix mine with other powders too though.

yeah, i actually have bhringraj and hibiscus petal powders

but i think when i get my henna
i'm going to do it strictly henna

i'm really looking for the strengthening benefits
i've been looking at henna info/posts all day long haha.
