Quicky Henna Storage Question

Ok well I ordered my 300g of henna which is recommended for shoulder length hair, which is wayyyy more than I needed. I mixed up about a cup and a 1/2 and I have a bit left over. Can I save the moxture and reuse it or toss it? How do I go about saving it if it can be reused?

I pretty much bought 300mg for a little longer than shoulder length hair as well. It looks like way to much for my hair, if you could've mixed your differently would you have only mixed about half of the henna instead of all of it?

I mix up 100g of henna. After dye release I take about 1/2 of that to mix with my indigo. The rest goes in the freezer.

i didn't even mix up all of it!! I mixed only about a cup and a half and it was wayyy too much. i probably would of used a little less than a cup next time. 300g is a ridiculous amount to use on shoulder length hair. when it came in the mail i was like holy crap no way im puttin this all on my head. i didnt expect 300g to amount to so much.

I'm going to do my henna treatment in a few. I'm going to learn by your example and use way less about 3/4 of a cup and just add water.
