henna confusion

I am so confused about henna. I have ordered Cassia Obovata from Mehendi.com (sp) before and was happy with it. I wasn’t looking for color. I see post where people say they used Cassia, then mixed in a little henna, then indigo for color (coloring is my focus at the moment). I thought Cassia was neutral henna. Is indigo something different from henna? Are they adding different types of henna together?

Please help clarify this for me, my head is spining. lol

Hi lady, this is what I know:
henna real name is lawsonnia inermis
Cassia obovata is neutral it is not henna
Indigo is not henna
Indigo + henna = black color
henna alone=reddish color
