Henna and semi-permanent dye

Does anyone still use henna over semi-permanent hair dye? It is this safe? Does the henna change the color of the hair?
I want to use semi permanent hair dye but I also want the thickening/conditioning benefits of henna?

I don't foresee a problem with doing that. If you don't want the color, mix the henna with cold-room temperature water and apply it immediately. You won't get the color release this way.. otherwise you'll get reddish overtones with just henna.

No problem for me. I used Jamila over Sebastain's colourshines. The rinse was not fresh.
