Henna and Conditioner..

I asked this question on the hennaforhair forum also. There is another poster on that board who wanted to know if she could use semi-permanent color on her hair.Myself and others replied that it probably would not take. I know this for a fact because I have tried twice already to do this using semi-perm black rinse.The others said the same thing happened to them. For some reason the henna seems to block the color from taking. My question is- If you have had this happen to you, does your conditioner seem to be penetraiting your hair? Even if you have not tried to dye your hair and you use henna, does your conditioner seem to be working for you? Thanks in advance

I henna my hair and I don't have a problem with using conditioner - I can still get my hair moisturized if that's your question.
