Help With Wedding Style

Flat Twist Out.PNG

This is the style I would like to wear on my wedding day. I'm pretty sure I can do this on my own but I honestly can't tell if if her hair is blown out or if I can achieve this on freshly washed hair with product of course.

If any of you ladies have worn something similar, did you blow your hair out first?

May depend on your hair type. I 'm a 4zzzzz lol. I blow dry before twist outs. How about you do a try out on blown out hair and freshly washed before your wedding to see which you like best.

I'm 4A in the front and 4B in the rest.... I kinda figured I would have to do a couple of test runs but since we moved the date up I'm being pressed for time LOL!! I guess doing it without blow drying first would be less time consuming?? Thank you mama!!

If you blow dry first use some foam wrap to assit in helping to set your hair. Congratulations, when is the big day? How about this since you are pressed for time. Wash your hair and do half on wet hair and blow dry the other half and set it to see which you like best. Do you have time to do this today or this weekend?

Thank you, I have a couple of weeks to go :spinning:. Still need to get my dress..(I know, I know). But I like your idea. I haven't used a foam wrap in 8yrs, daaang. I'm more comfortable with some eco styler, so i'll stick to that one. I figure I have a few times to practice to get it right before the big day. I've been binge watching youtube tutorials all day LOL! But I have some time after work to give your suggestion a try. Thank you so much!!!

Please come back and let me know which you like best :).

Why not get a curly half wig so you can guarantee the loose part will come out the way you want on that day and you aren’t stressing about your hair. Black Friday will be the perfect time to get a nice unit for a good price then you can work on your flat twist design and forget about the rest

This is what I got. It's nothing like the picture. I suck lol. I tried it on blown out hair and curly (something is wrong with my hair) and thats what I got.

Doesn’t look bad, but know this isn’t what you wanted. The original photo has more of a curled look. Did you use a setting foam like Lotta body?

No, just leave in and a curling custard..... i think what happened is that my hair is messed up from the last blowout. My curls are not back fully (it looks like it did when i was transitioning ) and im not sure what to do

Curl custard isn’t a setting foam. The custard maybe too thick.
