Help with putting in a ponytail??

I have thick hair, and I want to put in a weave ponytail for a quick change, but when I put my hair in a bun, it leaves it really bulky...is there anything I could do to help with this?

I dont think it's going to happen girl. I'll give you a minor suggestion rubberbanding(LHCF correction: using smaller ouchless ponytail holders) the length from the base of the ponytail to the end and then put your hair in a bun. That might cut down on the bulk of the bun
