I am pissed :wallbash:. First of all everyone told me about microbraids.....and I DID listen. When I went to the Africans I told them I want big braids. They even had sizes to choose from and I picked the biggest size but when they were done I looked in the mirror and realized those the b!?*$*$ didn't listen:nono::nono::nono:. Even though they weren't the size I asked they were pretty as ever and at the time it wasn't a big deal:look:. Okay so the braids were tight as hell so I figured for the first week I would just wear it in a loose ponytail towards the back but a few days later a braid fell out in the back. What the F**!. I totally freaked so I took the braid a loose and I could hardly even find my hair in the braid. So now its been almost two weeks and last night I found a braid in the bed and I do not know where this one came from?:perplexed I paid two much for these braids and it will take too long to take out...but I think I already know what I must do? Need Advice..ASAP. Sorry I wrote so much in the heat of the moment.

Girl, I know what you mean. I wore micros for a year and unfortunately loose braids are quite common. I always used to find a braid or two laying around somewhere and I was pissed. Other people I know who wore micros also complained of the same thing. If you find excessive amounts of braids laying around thats just ridiculous. Usually when you have loose braids that means that the're braiding hair into a tiny piece of hair, you'll find that most of them fall out around the nape or the sides. That's why I don't wear them anymore.

I feel for you. The only time that I've ever had braids come out was when I let someone other than my mother or myself do my braids. They were too tight. I only had my braids done by other 2 times and I was unhappy both times.

When a few of my braids came out, my hair was attached (bulb and all). I looked and it was a combination of them braiding too tight and them attaching too much of the braiding hair to my own hair (there were not equal amounts of both in the braid).

I would be really careful about even wearing the braids back in a loose ponytail because of the stress on your hairline.

I wish I had some advice for you. I eventually just took the braids out.

I am so sorry. I wish you luck.

((hugs))

I'm sorry this happened to you but I understand since it happened to me years ago when I had them.

I tell anyone who asks to stay away from micros. They are more harm than good.:nono:

Just try to baby your hair the best you can.

Thanks for the support ladies.....I just can bring myself to waste $200.00 plus the money for the human hair, but if one more braid comes out these babies gotta go.:yep:

Sorry this is happening to you. I would have the edges redone. Normally this is where the braids fall from. Or you could end up losing a lot of hair. And for the spots that came out, rub some shea butter in there to regrow the hair.

micro brais are the reason that i have v shape edges at the moment n even if it happened a while ago im still pIsses :wallbash: i want to grow in my edges now
