Help! Receding hairline

Hi everybody, just like to introduce myself as I am new to the forum. I have natural 4a/4b hair which I am trying to grow.

For many years I wore my hair in a tight bun for school which has left me with a receding hairline, especially around the left and right side of my temple. Has anyone experienced this? And how did you get your hair to grow back in this area?
