I am in dire need of a hair care regimen. I have been browsing for hours and there is just so much information, im not sure what to do.
right now i use:

Shampoo: Tressame or nioxin....just bought the cantu shea butter but havent tried it yet
Conditioner: Tressame, nioxin, emergencie, or 60sec extreme repair
Leave in: Cantu shea butter

I wash once or twice a week and either air dry or rollerset and sit under the dome dryer

relaxer: Dr. Miracle every 8wks
I take b complex and multivitamins but i dont think they help much

Im a product junkie and cannot stick to one thing and im really trying to narrow it down

Ive read alot about essential oils and im considering going out to buy the peppermint and almond to use as a moisturizer and to mix in with a conditioner

I graduate college in december and i really want my hair to look nice right now it is at the base of my neck but its not all that healthy and i would like it to be armpit length by december which is probably wishful thinking but anywhere close would be great

Please help im open for anything

But...what you're describing is actually a regimen.

Maybe it would feel more like a real regimen if you added a deep conditioner to what you are already doing.

Many of us do not have a very specified regimen, we just listen to what our hair seems to be telling us and follow course.

To cut down on product junky-ism, try to use up the products you already have before buying new ones. It sounds like you currently have a lot of different things. Start an online hair journal try different combinations of products and see which ones yield the best results. If you don't write it down or keep track of it, you'll never remember what you did.

Once you start crossing items off the list...then you'll know your staples and you'll be able to make a very solid product regimen.

I agree, It seems like you have a pretty good regimen. Finding a good solid regimen is hard. It took me years to find a regimen that I was satisfied with. There's a lot of trial and error involved. You may need from time to time tweek your regimen based on your hair's condition. As long as you have a good protien and moisture balance and your hair responds well you should b fine. Good luck with your regimen.
