Sounds like u need to add more protein in your reggie. Alternate cowash conditioners; use a moisture one, then the next time use a protein one like Aphogee 2 min.

How much hair is coming out? Is it shed hair or breakage? Are you relaxed or natural? How long has this been going on?

are you sure it is breakage and how often are you cowashing? try a light protein treatment and see if that will help. how are you detangling your hair?

When you say natural for a month, does that mean you haven't relaxed in that long? My hair sheds (not breaks) when I wash as well, I'm talking about long strands maybe about 40 hairs every time, seeing it bothers me a little but it's been going on for a few months and I don't see any bald patches so I just consider this to be normal...... My hair sheds more when wet, not so much when it is dried.

I've been natural for six years and I use VO5 bfor cowashes I mositurize with Qhemets Heavy cream or Oyin Hair Dew.I seal with coconut or Olive oil. I've been dyeing it lately with Texture and Tones. I use Elucence for protein treatment. I co wash almost every day.

I co-wash about three times a week. Once a week before co-washing, I apply Aubrey GPB or Aubrey BGA Protein Cream Rinse on dry hair. Let it sit for a few minutes, rinse, then co-wash with whatever conditioner I am trying to use it.

Perhaps your hair is having a reaction to the texture and tones?
