Help me set up a new regimen!!!

Hi ladies!!!! I made the mistake of going back to relaxers after years of being natural so my hair is breaking and it has gotten super thin. I'm now looking forward on going natural a second time and no more relaxers for me. My last relaxer was on December 2012. I started taking Biotin daily but as far as hair products I don't know what to do anymore. I have some silicon mix, it leaves my hair super soft. I need a moisturizer, a sulfate free shampoo, protein treatment etc. Before I forget I'm planning on using a MN mix with sulfur and essential oils. Please help ladies!!!!

claudies revitalizer makes great moiturizers and has sales often. there should be a sale next month

komaza protein strengthner is excellent its better than aphogee 2step and i would follow it up with an aubreys condtioner to dc

aubreys condtioners are also great for dc-ing my faves are gbp, j.a.y and hsr

i like giovanni for sulfate free poos 50-50 & sas are my staples

i like darcy botanicals leave-in to detangle after i wash

trim your ends every 3 months for maintanence but in the meantime trim more often to get rid of the damage.

you can also try Hairveda products, also VERY reasonably priced with frequent sales

you can easily build a purely HairVeda regimen, these are the products I use :lick:

cleanse: cocasta shampoo bar/amala creme rinse
Protein DC: sativa tea set (medium)
light protein leave in or rinse out: acaiberry phyto/moistPRO
Moisture DC: sitrinillah
moisture leave in or rinse out: moist 24/7
Stylers: whipped jelly/red tea strong gel/ almond glaze
moisturizing leave ins: whipped ends/ whipped clouds

I second claudies moisturizers :lick:

light to medium proteins
I like She Scents It (SSI) okra reconstructor and also the fortifying mask
Curl Junkie repair me

Cleansers
as I am coconut cowash (sallys)
they have another one that ladies like too coconut cleansing pudding I think, but I havnt tried it yet

You can also try shea moisture products (walgreens and target)
there are a bunch of products that have mixed reviews, the ones I like are

moisture DC purification mask
styler curl enhancing smoothie

hmmmm I think thats it for now

I say keep it simple and just try one line- like Shea Moisture or Aubry Organics. Preferably, one you can buy on the ground.

Revamping your routine is a great idea. Shea Moisture is Great for sulfate free [scalp] shampooing-- but I don't like any other products from the Shea Moisture line. Aubrey Organics GPB is the best weekly deep conditioner I have encountered. Oil rinses are great for moisture retention (castor oil). Lastly, Komaza has great protein Strengthener (DC) and great leave in products (Shea Lotion moisturizer and Jojoba Hemp sealant).
