What are some good brand's? Which brand gives good result's? How long does it last? Is it like a rinse or dye? Should I do it after I get my touch up? Is it messy to do at home? If I sweat will it end up all over the place?

HI! I just used the clear henna (cassia) for the first time last night and I must say I absoloutely love that stuff!! I didn't want to change my hair color so I got the cassia, which is henna without the color basically. I got it from hennaforhair The owner is really good at answering any questions u ma have if u call or email. The site is full of info on it too.

ITA. I also ordered cassia from HFH and had a few questions, the owner answered, got my order quick too. They messed up my order, but promptly fixed it and sent me 300mg of henna and 100 indigo as a gift :)

I'll be hennaing my hair on Friday - I'm so excited!!!!!

OMG, ur gonna love it! The 300g was more than enough for me. I mixed up a cup which was wayy too much and I have lots left over. I shampooed and conditioned with Elucence when I was done and let me tell u my hair is holding on to moisture like never before  I think I may start using this once a week.

OK, so you shampooed and conditioned, on the instructions it says rinse. But I'm thinking that's only for cassia, since no color is added. I was just going to rinse and deep condition......

yes i did both and i really loved the results. it was so amazing to me how my hair felt thicker and heavier after i rinsed it out. i left it on for a little over an hour before i rinsed it out.

i must admit the whole time it was on my head i was thinkin, lord please dont let this stuff turn my hair this color. Cuz it looks almost like brownish green mud, and my hair is naturally a reddish blonde. I hopped in the shower to rinse then as soon as i got the front of it rinsed i immedately checked in the morror to make sure my hair wasnt green then hopped back in the shower once i saw things were lookin right :lachen:

:lachen: :lachen: only something an LHCFer would do. I was a bit worried when I opened the package and saw it was green. But, I feel better about using it after reading ALL the post and tapping Sareca for info....

Wish me luck....

I use and love Reshma Henna (Body Art Quality), which, has been giving me outstanding results since January, which was after my last relaxer. If your hair is dark, then, the color change should be subtle. It is pretty messy, but well worth it! :yep: Make sure that you put newspaper down and wear gloves while applying it to, and washing it out of, your hair. During the 100 degree temps and my workouts, I didn't have any problems w/ my hennaed hair. Henna is not as intimidating as it may seem. Have fun! :drunk:
