I really want to wear my hair curly sometimes but it just doesn’t work on me. I have used bendy rollers on damp hair, it just ends up looking a mess and fluffy and childlike, then heated bendy rollers on dry hair this looks better but the falls within an hour. Curling tong end up frizzing up by the time I reach the front and twists/bumps/pin curls come out ‘angular or how the bendy rollers come out.

Help I just want a nice curly look every now and again

Have you tried bantu knots? A lot of people are able to do those and end up with nice wavy curls.

I think you should really try a twistout. You can either do free hanging twists or flat twists to your scalp. You then use perm rods at the ends to secure and curl. I think you'll like the results after you untwist & fluff.

check out MoptopMaven on youtube for a tutorial.

And the only way I know to keep frizz out is to use an anti-frizz serum. John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum is the one I use.
