Help! De~wig a wig

Hey ladies. I just bought a new wig and I love it. I'm going to b wearing it for the next month. But it's synthetic and shiny.ive heard people say baby powder helps but I don't know how much or if should wash it afterwards

Basby powder/corn starch didn't work well for me. I had to rinse mine in water with a little vinegar in it to lessen the shine.
