Girl, you are good. That clicking was getting on my nerves.

I will have to try it again since it worked so well for you.

Chile, I have a nine year old that talk till your ears slide off your head so, that clicking is soothing to me! LOL

Hmmm.... I used to use the Caruso Rollersetting system a few years back, but back then I was relaxing my hair straight. Now I slightly relax my hair so that it still has texture to it (texlaxing?). I was thinking about giving the Caruso another try, but I was wondering if the steam/moisture would cause my hair to frizz up. What do you think?

I don't relax bone straight either, and carusos actually straighten my wavy (slightly underprocessed) hair. I don't think they will cause frizz if they are used properly. HTH

I see they have the ION model on sell at Folica for $39.99 free shipping....hmmmmmmm.....

OK, I'm sold. I've been eyeing this for awhile, I'm gonna break down and get one. From what I've read on this forum, these steam rollers are fab.

Stick with the caruso's...when I first used them my hair came out a hot friggin mess...all fuzzy...I looked like a chia pet....once you determine how long to let them stay in your hair...you'll be a pro at using them in no time...it took me a good 2-3 times to get the hang of them:)

Do you know I still haven't used mine yet? I need to try them out to get the hang of it. Right now I am bagging and dont get a chance to use them.

Thanks! I think I will give the carusos another try. I definitely love my curls and the caruso was awesome!

OK, I received my Caruso Ion setter from Folica today, and I just gave it a try. It really works well! I still have to get the hang of roller placement, and tweak the steaming time a lil bit (my curls were slightly damp), but this will be GREAT for curly styles! Especially since I stink at traditional rollersets.

BTW, I used the noisy ion setting, and the clicking didn't bother me all that much. My hair came out ridiculously shiny, too, so that made up for the noise.:D

OT, but you look great in that pic Dee!

Thanks :) I'm using flexy rods to curl my hair at night instead.. it's working better than the caruso's would (tighter curls)

bump for any updates?

I had same problem as poster. Replies are helping me to want to try this again.
