i went to get a weave today from the lady that did my kinky twist before so i get to my moms house and she said the back looks jacked up I don't know what i should do should i go back to her and demand she fix it or try and find someone else to fix it i was calling borics to get them to cut it but i don't dknow if i should cut it first or get it fixed i am about to cry i am going on vacation thursday ugh

I would go back and have them fit it. I use to be scared to speak up and would go somewhere else to get it fix but when I see other ladies come back while Im getting my hair done and demand the stylist fix their hair it made me say i can do it and I should and so should you. They did it so they should fix it

I'd have her to fix it STAT!!! Call her and tell her immediately that you're not satisfied with your install!

I think the longer you wait, the more likely she would think that the screw-up wasn't her fault.

I hope you didn't spend a lot of money for it; but regardless of the cost, she should fix it.

If she doesn't know what she is doing i'm not sure if going back to her is going to get you anywhere. what you need to do is get on the phone right now and let her know that the back is not *insert problem here* (laying flat, straight, hiding the tracks). Tell her that it needs to be fixed right away and tell her that you are on your way back over.

This happened to me once. It was horrible!!!!!!!!!!! I know how you feel!

I went back and had them remove it. I hated it. I realized then that weaves are not for me!

I was unable to get the weave removed for about 3 days so I wore handbands and pretty scarfs to hide the bad part which was in the front and then just let the rest fall.

I could only carry that on for a few days though.

a jacked up weave is worse than jacked up hair growing out of your head. Give her the opportunity to correct it and if she can't, take it out.

i don't know what to do and it's sunday

Well, I like the length. It is not a fake-ey length, you know.

Can you wear a pretty scarf tied like a headband and clip the back up to hide it until you can get over there?

Edited to add:

You look like you could me Dsylla's long lost 2nd cousin. I think you favor each other a bit.

yea i would go back and have her fix it. It doesnt look like she knew what she was doing at all from the top part of it. Maybe if you could find someone to cut some layers or something in it or give you a bang.

my orignal plan was to go to super cuts and and have them cut it in a bob i called her and she said he would fix it but i think she might be gaming me now i have no idea how to wear it to work she opens at 9 i should call in late to work and be waiting outside for her i think that's what i might do

Aww mama no!! She does not know what she is doing :nono: I see exactly what you mean now. Ask her when you get there if she can correct it or not. It is obviously not supposed to be like this and a good weaveologist would no that. If she says she can't fix it she needs to take it down and reimburse you. Is there someone else that you can go to that can squeeze you in immediately and redo it the proper way?

To be real with, I don't think she can fix it. It seems as though she was cruising until she got to the top. I think you should try to go elsewhere to get it fixed.

That's a good idea. I think she just got lazy when she got to the top or was rushing to try to get you out of there. IDK how she let you leave out of there with the back of your head looking like that. It just doesn't make sense. She needs to fix it. And if she can't/won't she needs to give you your money back.

i think she was rushing me oout because two kids getting braids came in after me

I doesnt look like she know how to make a closure. If you are braided completely, you should buy a closure, have her remove the front tracks and sew in a closure. This closure is by Milky Way and blends well with other hair brands. Sorry this happened to you, HTH!!

Girl, I just saw the pictures....wow! I am upset for you and very sorry that this happened. She should have never let to leave her home/place of work with the top of your head looking like that. When you get back home, explain the situation to her and then ask her to fix it STAT!

I'm just dumbfounded on why she would do that? Your hair pretty much becomes one of the business cards the minute she's finished and you leave her chair. I hope it works out for you:yep:

If she can't do the closure without the closure, then I also suggest that you purchase one and have it installed. I also agree w/ bluediamond about having layers cut into it...

thanks this sounds like a good idea it is braided in a circle

Umm Id take it out stat and buy a wig. Or maybe do-it-yourself styling like wash n go or braid outs or twists outs for the vacation. IDK but I wouldnt go to her period.

so i showed my coworker this mess and she called her niece so i went to the shop where she works she looked at it and said the braids are to far a part at the top snd the only way to save it was to take it down and start over i am going to let her take it down and start over i will never ever do this again in life the lady had did me some kinky twist and her shop is allways crowded i figured she knew what she was doing so i am just out 110 and i was going to go back up there and make her take it out and demand some of my money back but i dont trust her to do it i am getting it done on thursday i will post pics of the new one :( :( :(
