Can anyone give me tips about how to make a synthetic weave less shiny, while on my head:ohwell:

I got myself talked into getting a weave fixed, and I was certain I would only keep it in for a week max. It is a low cut, and I really like the style on me and I would like to keep it in longer.
Also, every time I spritz my head, I feel I get a bit of irritation on my scalp. I am scared to wash my hair because of that. Help!!!

i heard putting some baby powder or cornstarch on it reduces the shine...or an apple cider vinegar rinse (1-2 tbps in a cup of water)

Thanks for the reply ladies. I will try your suggestions. Any other ideas are welcome.

I would use a chelating shampoo and/or dry shampoo . Although at the end of the day, synthetic weaves will always look a bit shiny and unnatural
