Hellpppppp Heat Is Killing My Hair!!!!!!!

I was having problems with moisture, but since I started using diluted s-curl, and doing frequent conditioner washes, my hair is super soft! It is consistently soft. I can't even believe how soft and moisturized it is. I'm doing a low product routine, so for me it's pretty much cw, use s-curl, and use my carrot creme when 80% airdried.

I also deep condition weekly with heat.

Thanks for the info, but i'm wearing my exentions so i can't cw as it would cause build-up/breakage issues when i remove the braids, my dryness issue has cleared up since doing a light conditioning treatment once a week. I usually follow a similar routine to yours when i wear my natural cornrows, i cw daily and use my homemade braid spray, so i relate to the moisture and softness you spoke of.

There is a possibility that the exstensions could be removing some of the moisture, however always treat my kanekalon hair with vinegar to remove most of the alkaline before having it applied to my hair.

I love the extensions because i don't have to do much with my hair and i'm currently stretching my relaxer for a while and trying to grow it.LOL I wish i had buttlength hair.
