Hi!

O my gosh let me just first say I feel like such a cheapskate for not subscribing sooner because it is not expensive at all.

Anyways my name is Neisha, I started going on this site about 4 years ago when I decided that I was fed up of relaxer and wanted healthy natural hair. Like many of you on this site I believed that because I was fully black, that I could never grow my hair but thaks to you ladies I now know the truth!.

My hair care journey was and still isnt easy. When I first decided to go natural I brought what I thought was natural products that claimed to make my hair grow...well in true fact it actually just broke off the back of my head and I was left with pretty much nothing.
Fast forward about 2 years of doing research and having protective styles (mainly twists & weaves) I am finally on my way to having what I want, natural healthy hair!.

Right now my regime is very simple, but I just dont have the time to complicate things! Right now my hair is in twists and I grease my hair every other day. I usually keep the twists in for about 4-6 weeks and blow dry my hair every 5 months or so.

Here is a pic that I took of my hair back in January of my hair blow dryed. My hair is 4a/b.

Hey Neisha!! Welcome to LHCF... what IS it about 2008 that so many joined up on this site but never really got going till 2012??? I came here first in 2008 yet my HHJ only started 4 months ago

Anyway, you'll want to be joining some challenges - there's the Shoulder Length 2012 for starters, and also the APL Challenge (Arm Pit Length) where you'll be made welcome and the support is huge :yep:

Good luck, and don't forget to tell your friends, lol!
