Hello ladies! I'm new to the board and I have a couple of questions? Does SL mean shoulder length? If so, what are the other acronyms for hair lengths? Also, I just embarked on a new short cut and my hair is very dry and my scalp flakes really bad. What product is everyone using to circumvent that? erplexed

Welcome to this board. About you other question I'm not sure but how is the water where you live at? Hard water can cause certain problem w/ hair. Are you relaxed or natural?

Yes the water is kind of hard here and I just had a relaxer put in 3 weeks ago.

I use coconut oil or grapeseed extract with a few drops of tea tree and lavender mixed in to combat hard water and icky scalp

Yes the water is kind of hard here and I just had a relaxer put in 3 weeks ago.

You might have to get a shower filter to help w/ the dryness & itchy scalp.
