Hello everyone, I am new to LHCF, and first let me say I have learned alot in one month than I have in a lifetime of trying to take care of my hair!!:yep: I have a burning question! What qualifies as a moisturizer? I recently read on a blog that oil does not moisturize the hair, it only seals. If this is so, then what do I need to use (conditioner, cream, butters, etc.) to moisturize my hair?

TIA

Hi and Welcome!!!! I've read that a water based leave-in conditioner or even regular conditioner can serve as a moisturizer! Just make sure its water based. water= moisture. Makes sense rite?

Welcome to lhcf! Like she said make sure it's a water based product, hence water is the first ingredient listed.

Welcome noob!!!

*whispers* Get some Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 :sekret:

Welcome to LHCF!! Best moisturizer? Well, nothing moisturizes my hair better than plain water sealed with oil.
