I recall when I used to rollerset my hair at home all the time, since i didnt like blowdrying my hair, I would just roll it tightly, tie it down and let it dry overnight and they turned out well. so, my question is now that I have two textures, would it be a bad idea to try to rollerset without heat???

I tried this months ago and it didnt come out good at all. But then again, my rollersetting technique leaves much to be desired. It was dry, but not smooth at all - - crinkly and lumpy -- and I slept terribly that nite. Others have great success with this though. So I guess heat isn't really necessary. Good luck.

You could try it, I just wouldn't expect your hair to come out exactly the same as it did before. Heat assists in smoothing and straightening the hair when you sit under the dryer after a rollerset. It may be frizzier and the curlier of the textures will probably stay mostly curly.
