What is the best heat protectant to use on your hair before straightening it with a hot comb?

..Are they’re any natural ones?

1. Aveda Leave-on Conditioner (after shampooing)
2.Aveda Damage Control (before blow drying)
3.Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid (right before I press each section of hair)

i just got the aveda smoothing fluid but havent tried it yet BUT chi silk infusions is wonderful for protecting the hair and making the hair silky silky
i'll see if the aveda can live up to that!!

I don't press my hair but when I flat iron my hair I use CHI silk infusion, and I love it! I get mine from Ulta. I've never seen it at Sally's.

I just did a google search on it and they say it's a leave in that you apply before blowdrying. So, after you blowdry do you just flat iron without any additional product?

i put some on before i blow dry and then when i flat iron, i put it on each section of my hair that i am flat ironing. comes out just like silk!
just a little on each section.
