So I need to find thin headbands but some headbands really really hurt and I don't want the wrap around kind i want the slide on ones. anyone know any with some pads or something in them?

TIA

Hmmm, the only kinds I can think of are the cloth stretchie kinds that resemble scrungies. But are circle shaped.

Or the medium or large headbands that the bss sells with the foam in them.

I know what you mean though. I use a cut pantyhose, and it hurts sometimes. :ohwell:

I just don't understand why they can't make headbands that aren't giving you a headache by the end of the day.

walmart sells ouchless ones but they still hurt me :wallbash: i truly think they are intended for kids or people with smaller heads:lachen:

good question, lately I've just been using bobby pins b/c I don't feel like dealing with the headache. This only works for hairstyles with volume though, like braidouts...since my hair covers them.

I've used cut stocking too in the past - but its nothing fancy.

i have the same problem, either they are too tight and give me headaches a few hours after putting them on or they slide off my head. i hadn't heard too many people complain about this, so i figured i had a weird shaped head or something. lolol

i just took some pictures for you guys cuz the headbands i got are a-mazing! They're comfort-fit, no headaches, no irritation in that area behind your ears, you could wear them all day and seriously not feel a thing. Basically, they're just shaped a bit differently than the standard headbands. I got them at wal-mart or zellers- I really can't remember. Ok, here they are (hope this helps)

I buy the 99cents cloth ones from the BSS. The ones which can be made wider and wider into a small scarf-no tightness to the head. Problem is they are only good for a few wearings then they usually pop so I've learned to stitch them better from the start.

My husband bought one from nostroms, it is Olive Green suede with like an indian design and beading, I love it. It has the stretch band in the back no metal (19.99). I also bought black braided double one from the BSS for like 2.99 Love it. I bought 3 from the dollar store they broke in one day :( . I have another few from Nostroms but they arent as nice as the green one. Sometimes the hubby gets a winner and then sometimes they arent, those don't have teeth, the ones from the BSS does, I love those will wear them with my half wigs, the other I wear with my natural hair. :D

Try the Macy's, Nostroms for different types of headbands, but the BSS usually has some good pickings too! :)
