Hi Ladies,
I read about this relaxer on another board, so I am wondering if any of u have used it or know someone who does. And if that's the case do u believe it's a good relaxer or not?
I want to switch relaxer, try something new. Also if u have any relaxer that you would recommend please feel free to let me know.
PS: I have been using Luster's Pink relaxer (not sure whether if it's the exact name or not) TIA

My friends and I used to use it. For my hair 4b thick it worked alright, but I've used better. On my friends who have thinner hair, as far as I could tell it worked really well. At one point it was their fave.

My girlfriend uses it. She loves it.

She's been using it for at least 7 years.

ok blueflower I'll send her a pm...

So caramelhonee ur friend has not had any problem at all with it? And to u does her hair look any better with that relaxer?
My other concern is that it doesnt come with a neutralizing shampoo...

Hey MT...
my girlfriend has never had any problems with it. She loves the Hawaiian Silky relaxers

She's actually west indian so her natural hair to me is beautiful with or without the relaxer but i will say, after she uses it, her hair looks HAWAIIAN SILKY

BTW, if she does or if i do it, she purchases her own neutralizing shampoo. If she brings it to the salon (they NEVER carry that line) they always have a NS to use.

ok... Affirm is another relaxer I am looking into but it costs $42 bucks online. Do u usually bring your relaxer to ur stylist or do use Affirm cuz that's what ur stylist uses?

My stylist has affirm in her salon. I've never had to bring it to her. Affirm is TOO exp. to be buying on ur own and then PAYING for it to be applied
