Have You Used Satin Pillow Rollers?

I've been eyeing some satin pillow rollers, to wear to bed, on Amazon for the longest time, but I don't want to buy them without knowing how they work. So, if you have used them before:

Relaxed, texlaxed, or natural?
Where did you purchase them, and how much did they cost?
How well did they work?
What products did you use on your hair with the rollers?
How long do the curls last?
How did you wear your hair the next day?
Are they comfortable to sleep in?

Thanks!

Relaxed, texlaxed, or natural? I've used them on relaxed and texlaxed hair
Where did you purchase them, and how much did they cost? I got mine from CVS. I don't remember how much I paid, but it wasn't over $15.
How well did they work? They work really well. I have used them on airdried hair as well as straightened hair. They have a tighter curl like sponge rollers, and they are easy to sleep on.
What products did you use on your hair with the rollers? I used Elasta QP moisturizer and Lacio Lacio.
How long do the curls last? Don't remember
How did you wear your hair the next day? I reset my hair every night.
Are they comfortable to sleep in? Very Comfortable to sleep in.

Thanks!

Off topic.... My aunt has a set with leopard print that I have been looking at, but I just started using my satin covered foam rollers.

I have used them before. My hair was not quite apl when I used all over and they give tight curls for me when using a setting lotion. A little too tight for my liking at that length. But it seems if the hair is a longer it would look really nice. When I used a serum on my hair and larger sections, it gave a loser curl. Now I wear a bun with a bang and roll my bang with the rollers with out product. It is kinda tight but the curls fall to nice swoop bang by the time I get to where I am going. Hth

Oh forgot they are comfy to sleep in and with setting lotion they last all day and if you sleep without them the next day you will still have curls. Of course if you put them in again it will be tight. I just needed to find a better hairstyle because it was too tightish and a little old fashion looking lol. Maybe it would look cute in and up style instead.

Relaxed, texlaxed, or natural? I was relaxed and stretching at the time.
Where did you purchase them, and how much did they cost? I don't remember... probably a pharmacy like CVS.
How well did they work? I loved the light and loose curls I got from them. I had lots of body, which I need, because my hair is fine.
What products did you use on your hair with the rollers? Sorry, I'm not sure... I probably used undiluted Lottabody or S-Curl.
How long do the curls last? This is making me feel so old...
How did you wear your hair the next day? I'm geriatric now...
Are they comfortable to sleep in? Yes. I was very tender headed at the time, but these were soft and comfortable.

Thanks!

Here are some photos from wearing the rollers. I was APL then:

My fotki description says:
It was too sticky for the curls to come out as they usually do :( I need to try it again when there is less humidity.

Relaxed, texlaxed, or natural? I was natural when I used them.
Where did you purchase them, and how much did they cost? Purchased them on Amazon for $5 or so
How well did they work? They were awesome...but the quality is total crap. I kept them alive by sewing them back together, but they do die after a while. I used them as a PS while my hair was in twists...they really protected my ends.
What products did you use on your hair with the rollers? Just a leave-in, and some Super Buttercream.
How long do the curls last? I did it more to PS than to style, but I'd have a big fro that would last all day.
How did you wear your hair the next day? Curly fro
Are they comfortable to sleep in? VERY! Sooo comfortable, and nice compared to other rollers. Love em!

My only complaint is that they don't last...the wire pokes out of the satin pretty easily, and it's hell trying to keep them alive after that. Some of them don't even come well sewn! Buy multiple packs.
