I use Phyto Index 1. Have been now for the last 4 relaxer cycles. It works great, gives my fine hair immediate body. Was contemplating not using it this go around because of the $60 price tag and going back to Optimum Relaxer..but worried that my hair might not like that. So, I'm gonna bite the bullet and get my Phyto!

one last thing...This is the only relaxer that I can stretch for 12 weeks with!

I have used it and if you gone weeks with out an relaxer like over 10 weeks ...you need to use 2 or 3 for thick hair.....Has anyone tried Hawian Silky curl recontructer??heard it is great for the summer months...I heard it really loosens up the curl!!!!

2-3? How much are you using? Are you only doing new growth? I have pretty thick hair and I only use 1 and I only retouch twice a year. I only used 2 when I did my whole virgin head originally.

I recently relaxed my daughter's virgin, 3b,bra strap length hair (bsl when curly) and used two - there was a smidge left over. I cannot imagine using that much relaxer on a few inches, even six inches of new growth.
