I was just curious..Has anyoune tried difussing their hair?..If so, what are the results..does it elongate curls? and which diffuser do you use?

I diffuse my curls every time I wash my hair (every other day). My hair is very low porosity and takes hours upon hours to dry. I diffuse year round to minimize drying time. I don't notice that it elogates curl (for me) but perhaps it does for some.

I'm currently using the standard diffuser attachment that came with my Revlon blow dryer, but I also have this bowl diffuser.

If you diffuse the way Taren does in the video that wavezncurlz posted, you will get volume. I don't do all of the flipping upside down Taren does, my hair will naturally get bigger as it dries. I only do it to expedite drying time.

Stretching the curl leads to curl elongation for me. You can either the concentration nozzle or just hold the hair at the end and blow dry along the length of the hair. When I diffuse, my hair is usually more shrunken.

Me too! I thought it was just me I tried it once and I was like what the heezy is this mess . I had to re-wet and start all over

I always do. I don't do it to 100% dry, but just enough that it's not wet and dripping. More like 60% dry. And yes, it does give me more elongated curls.

i haven't diffused lately because my blowdryer died, but i used to do it occasionally if i wanted to speed up drying time, or get bigger hair. i had a bowl diffuser, but i lost it last year, plus at the time i dont think my hair was long enough for it...it was huge. i may buy another one when my hair gets longer though. i have a concentrator nozzle/diffuzer and i stretch the roots a little bit and then to the hair flipping and all that jazz...i dont really care about curl elongation, as much as i do volume...i diffuse for big hair and less frizz.
