I use Nexus conditioner (humectress) as my daily moisturizer and my hair feels great so I am def. on board with trying this!

Hair is dead, therefore split ends cannot be bonded back together. This is just a marketing tactic to catch the eye of consumers so that they will buy the product. It probably has an ingredient designed to temporary seal the hair strand and 'stick' the two broken ends together. Silicone does this well so it might have that added as its 'mending' property.
