Have you guys noticed that there are more and more commercials, tv shows, movies with natural haired black women?
I have seen at least 5 commercials with natural haired ladies...I guess people are starting to accept

Yes I have. I think a saw a type 4 but I can't remember the commercial.

I have. I was wondering if I was just noticing more now that I'm into natural hair now. Or if people are acknowledging natural hair. I have to agree most natural hair in ads are type 3

I have too but I think also you have to remember they are selling products now so I mean I have seen so many companies that now say they were around for 25 yrs selling natrual curly hair products and what we are just now hearing about them because it is the in thing now?

OMG, I was just mentioning this to my DH. It seems like almost every black women in a commercial these days is natural. I just saw a Dulcolax commercial with a woman who was clearly a type 4.

I've noticed most naturals in commercials and tv shows are in the 4s. Most naturals in movies and magazines are in the 3s.

They've been doing this for a while now. What I like is that we are seeing more black people in commercials that aren't selling something specifically for black people. I have noticed the natural haired black woman thing about 6 years ago.

yea there were a few threads about this a while back.
Many people say they only see 3's lol I've seen a lot of 4's
There's even 3 in both of my textbooks that came out this year.
I guess people want everyone to be represented it's cool.
I even saw one on house hunters she was the girl's friend lol

I was just thinking this! There was a Jamaican mango creme or something and some leave in with a 4a in the commercial, (though she ended with flat ironed hair, so maybe this isn't good?) and it's just Sokol over the place. No more commercials with that terrible dr miracles mess e_e

Those dr miracle commercials used to piss me right the hell off. Just because the lady had a fro automatically her hair is jacked up?
