I just saw the commercial today and it has a bunch of styles, instructions and tools from the same people who make the no damage hair acessories. I'm definately going to look for this.

I've seen it for 29.99 at the CVS. I'm thinking it'll probably go on sale near Xmas or perhaps after, and then maybe I'll buy it. I almost got it as a wedding present for a friend with waist-length hair. It seems like a great gift for the shoulder-length or longer haired women.

Well I bought a kit, and watched the video, I did the small side braid w/ the wrapped ponytail. It was so simple, this is really great for those of us wanting to keep our hair long. I would definately give this kit 2 thumbs up.

I hope my mommy sees this thread and thinks, "This would be a great gift for BlackCardinal..."

Edited to add:
All Walmarts aren't created equal. Only one of the 3 store said they carry the product but the price remains $19.99. This is not uncommon for 1 Walmart store to start items on sale earlier than other Walmart stores. I'll have to keep an eye out for the price to drop and check other stores when I'm in another area.

I got one made by Goody. They had a short, medium, and long hair kit. It was $9.99 and I got it at Target.

Yep, I got mine at walmart a couple days ago for the sale price. I haven't tried it yet, though.

Re: Have you ladies seen this scunci hair styling

I haven't done much with mine yet either but once I get settled in my new place, I will be trying out some of the styles!

Re: Have you ladies seen this scunci hair styling

Ladies, I got the last one at Walmart and it only cost $4.90. That's right, $4.90. What a steal!!

If they have any, yes! They put it on clearance with the rest of the Christmas stuff.

Re: Have you ladies seen this scunci hair styling

I'm about to burst (PJ overload)...these locals around here want to hold out until the New Year rolls in and I won't be able to buy one.

DSD, how do you like it. I can get one at Walmart for 19.99 but I don't want to spend that much if it's not worth that much. I guess I could expand my search, that is, if it can still be found at the lower prices.

Re: Have you ladies seen this scunci hair styling

I used the ponytail loop thingy on my daughter's hair. The instructions are pretty simple to follow = they have the video. I think it may be worth the 20 bucks but not more than $20.00.

It includes:

A style book that is laminated so if you use it in the bathroom it won't get all soggy if you get a little product on it. It also stand up. The style book also has clear pictures of how the finished style should look. The models have medium length hair so the styles are acheiveable.(but you don't have to worry about that!lol)

An instructional video. I haven't watched that yet.

The ponywrap. It is used to make wrapped ponytails using you own hair. They have many variations of this style.

You get 12 no damage elastics. They are kinda thin though. I have been know to break a few of these!

You get the criss crosser. This is used to create beautiful criss cross braids.

They topsy tail creates interesting ponytails and buns.

You also get:

A parting comb.

Two Cushionare brushes- One round and one paddle brush.

A bag to carry it all in.
